Certified Personal Trainer
You are your own standard. A personal motto derivative of Theodore Roosevelt’s quote “comparison is the thief of joy” that has played a major part over the years in Rhi’s training, both for herself and for her clients in group training and one-on-one settings. Confronted with several injuries and setbacks, Rhi has had to find ways to keep moving forward, understanding the frustrations with not being able to do what you want to do the way you originally wanted to do it. Two shoulder surgeries on the same shoulder plus one on the other, a knee surgery, hand surgery, and a disc bulge in her low back all haven’t been able to stop her from pursuing her goals.
Having played rugby since 2008, after 15 years of Tae Kwon Do where she achieved the rank of 4th degree black belt, Rhi has developed a unique approach to understanding the human body and its perceived limits. It’s all about perspective, and when we find the right one, everything and anything can change. It’s all connected. An understanding made easier through Rhi’s approach to kettlebells, TRX, dynamic bodyweight exercises, and power training. These methodologies to fitness combined have helped Rhi reach the successes that she has had with herself and her clients, as well as to allow for further successes in the future, both inside the fitness scene and out. Everyone’s journey is different, and we will all finish at a different finish line. How we get there can make all the difference
